Description
Gas gate valve OPTIVALVE™ F5 – modern fitting for gas networks and hydrogen systems. High-quality flanged fitting for natural gas networks with medium operating pressure and hydrogen mixtures. Ductile iron body with fully rubber-coated NBR wedge and advanced sealing system ensure complete tightness, safety and long service life.
Applications: medium-pressure natural gas networks; industrial and distribution installations; pipelines with hydrogen-natural gas mixtures. Construction features: ductile iron wedge with full NBR rubber coating and double soft sealing; very low closing torque; spindle sealing rings replaceable under pressure; patented upper wedge sealing surface; approved for pure hydrogen (H₂) and hydrogen-natural gas mixtures up to MOP 7 bar; cover per GW 336 for spindle extension. Technical data: face-to-face PN-EN 558-1 series 15; MOP 16 bar / PN16 (7 bar H₂); flanges PN-EN 1092-2 PN10/PN16; operating temperature –20°C to +60°C. Standard coating: epoxy electrostatically applied min. 250 μm. Optional PUR: internal epoxy 250 μm, external polyurethane per PN-EN 10290. Standard: PN-EN 13774, DIN 3230-5, GIS/V7-1.
