Gas gate valve OPTIVALVE PLUS™ steel with PE spigots in sizes DN250–400 was designed for medium-pressure gas networks, providing safe and tight shut-off under difficult operating conditions. This advanced solution combines the advantages of massive steel construction with the installation flexibility of PE100 spigots for permanent welding to polyethylene gas pipelines.

The core element is the fully rubber-coated NBR wedge made of ductile iron: high wear resistance, double soft sealing and very low closing torque. Three O-ring seals in the intermediate zone are replaceable under pressure, greatly simplifying service work. The patented upper wedge sealing surface ensures extraordinary tightness even during seal replacement. Full bore – no pressure losses. Optional bypass outlet available. Operating pressure: MOP 16 bar (PN16); with vent plug 7 bar. Standard: PN-EN 1074-1&2, PN-EN 1171. Certificates: CE (PED), BSI Kitemark. Epoxy coating min. 250 μm; optional PUR per PN-EN 10290. Body temperature: –20°C to +85°C; PE spigots: –20°C to +40°C.
