Description
Gas gate valve OPTIVALVE™ with PE spigots DN50–300 – safe and tight connection for PE gas networks. Modern fitting for medium-pressure gas installations with PE pipes. Design with direct welding to PE pipes ensures a permanent and tight connection without additional connectors. Suitable for natural gas and hydrogen networks in the temperature range –20°C to +40°C.
Applications: medium-pressure natural gas networks; PE 100 SDR 11 installations (SDR 17 on order); H₂ or gas mixture systems; municipal and industrial gas infrastructure. Construction features: PE spigots for direct welding; fully rubber-coated NBR wedge with double soft sealing; very low closing torque; spindle sealing rings replaceable under pressure; patented upper wedge sealing surface; approved for hydrogen up to 7 bar; cover per GW 336; SDR17 bore on order. Technical data: DN 50–300; MOP 10 bar / PN10 (7 bar H₂); connections PE 100 SDR 11; operating temperature –20°C to +40°C. Coating: epoxy min. 250 μm; optional PUR per PN-EN 10290. Certificates: CE (PED), INiG, DVGW, BSI Kitemark. Standard: PN-EN 13774, GIS/V7-1, DVGW G 5600-1.
